Class Schedule Summer 2008
CLASS POLICIES: Pre-registration is required for all classes. One-half payment of class fee is required to register, and the remainder of fee is due ONE WEEK before the start of class. Your deposit is refundable if you cancel one week in advance. We appreciate you buying class supplies from us, and a 10% discount is given when you are enrolled in a class. Sorry, no child care is available or visitors allowed.
KIDS KLASSES
Three classes for young people aged eight to fourteen, come prepared to have fun! Beginning knowledge of sewing machine is required!
| GRAB BAG PURSE with Lavena Rager -- A simple bag shape with two fabrics, and you'll have one fun tote you will want to make again and again. | CRAZY PATCH WALL HANGING with Lavena Rager -- Learn an old time technique of quilting when making this small wall hanging. Most crazy patch quilts have lots of hand decorations. You will be doing everything with machine stitches, so you will need a sewing machine that has a few decorative stitches. This is easy to do and will be lots of fun! | $15 | Wed., July 16 1-4 p.m. |
| DANCING HEARTS QUILT with Lavena Rager -- Learn to applique using fun fabrics and heart patterns. You decide how many hearts you want on your wall hanging. | BEGINNING NEEDLE TATTING with Lavena Rager -- Have you ever admired that tiny lace on antique handkerchiefs? This beginner class will have you tatting that same lace you thought was too difficult to learn, and you'll be doing it by the time you finish the first night's class. Needle tatting is sooo much easier than tatting with a shuttle. | SEASONS OF CHANGE WOOL APPLIQUE with Leslie Hale -- These little candle mats and small tree skirts are perfect for your seasonal decorating.
